Most commonly, our surveyors have been called upon to monitor historic and listed buildings during major renovation works, either in relation to the buildings entirety or on selected, retained elevations. Monitoring is also increasingly specified for bridges, aqueducts, church spires, dock walls and dockside structures which are suspected of distortion.

Moving on from the monitoring of discrete points on a structure, advances in laser scanning and associated processing software now enable us to record entire structures in high detail. Successive surveys will therefore identify precise regions of deformation.
